Methodist Church Ghana donates vehicle to support humanitarian work at Rafiki Satellite Village

The Methodist Church Ghana has donated a Kia pickup vehicle to the Methodist Rafiki Satellite Village at Gomoa Gyahadze to support humanitarian work and improve the centre’s operations.

The vehicle, provided through the Conference Office of the church, is expected to improve mobility and transportation for the centre as it carries out its activities and serves its beneficiaries.

The donation was dedicated during the ongoing 52nd Biennial Conference of the Methodist Church Ghana at St Paul Methodist Cathedral in the Tema Diocese.

Leading the dedication ceremony, the Presiding Bishop of the Methodist Church Ghana, the Most Rev Prof Johnson Kwabena Asamoah-Gyadu, prayed for the vehicle and the work it would support.

The Connexional Chairman of the Fellowship of Methodist Evangelists, Evang Mrs Gladys Osabutey, assisted with the ceremony and offered prayers as the vehicle was dedicated to the glory of God.

The Methodist Church says the vehicle will help the Rafiki Satellite Village carry out its activities more effectively and strengthen its ability to serve people within its area of operation.

The donation forms part of the church’s wider support for the work of the centre, which provides humanitarian assistance to its beneficiaries.

Members of the church and delegates attending the 52nd Biennial Conference witnessed the dedication ceremony.

The support is expected to give the Methodist Rafiki Satellite Village greater mobility as it continues its humanitarian work atGomoa Gyahadze.
