Hearts of Oak head coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani has pointed to lapses in judgement in key moments as the main reason his team were unable to secure maximum points in their latest Ghana Premier League outing.
The Phobians were forced to settle for a 0-0 draw against Aduana FC at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday in their Matchday 32 clash, despite dominating long spells of the game.
Hearts of Oak controlled possession and created several promising chances, but a lack of composure and precision in the final third meant they were unable to break down a disciplined Aduana defensive setup.
After the match, Dramani acknowledged that his side’s inability to make the right decisions under pressure proved costly.
“In football, challenges and learning moments are part of the journey. This is one of those situations we will learn from and improve on,” he said.
He stressed that decision-making remains a key area that must be addressed if the team is to progress.
“It has always been about decision-making since day one. We need to get better at it,” he added.
The experienced coach further noted that continuous improvement and humility are essential as the season draws to a close.
“What matters most in football is the willingness to improve. You must also be humble enough to accept that there is still work to do and focus on growing,” he said.
The result effectively ends Hearts of Oak’s chances of winning the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League title, leaving them to fight for pride in the remaining fixtures.
They will next travel to face FC Samartex at the Nsenkyire Sports Complex on Matchday 33.
