The Methodist Church Ghana has celebrated decades of dedicated service by honouring a group of ministers who have given much of their working lives to the ministry.
The recognition took place on the third day of the church’s 52nd Biennial Conference in Tema, where the long-serving ministers were commended for their contribution to the growth and development of the church.
One of those honoured was the Very Reverend Emmanuel Kwadwo Kyeremeh, whose service as a Methodist minister spans five decades.
Speaking to WTV after the ceremony, the Very Reverend Kyeremeh reflected on his 50 years in ministry, sharing some of the experiences and sacrifices that have shaped his journey of service to the church.
His son, Samuel Boadu Patrick, also offered a personal perspective on his father’s years in ministry, speaking about the commitment and sacrifices that have characterised his service.
The recognition provided an opportunity for the church to honour not only individual ministers, but also the years of commitment behind the work of the ministry.
For the Very Reverend Kyeremeh, five decades of service represent a lifetime dedicated to the Methodist Church Ghana and its mission of serving God and the wider community.
