Over 14,000 trained teachers cleared for national service as nsa releases registration pins

The National Service Authority has opened the next phase of the national service process by issuing Personal Identification Number (PIN) codes to 14,349 trained teachers, allowing them to begin registration for the 2026/2027 National Service Year.

In an official statement released on March 9, 2026, the Authority explained that the codes were generated after it received verified graduation lists from 36 out of the 49 accredited Colleges of Education nationwide.

According to the NSA, the submission of these class lists made it possible to activate the registration process for thousands of newly trained teachers preparing to undertake their mandatory national service.

Among the institutions that forwarded their data are Abetifi Presbyterian College of Education, Accra College of Education, Ada College of Education, and Agogo Presbyterian College of Education. The Authority noted that the complete list of participating colleges has been published on its official website for public reference.

Graduates who qualify for the service year have been directed to access the NSA’s online platform to retrieve their unique PIN codes. To complete the process, applicants must provide their Student Identification numbers and dates of birth to verify their records and proceed with registration.

The release of the PIN codes marks a critical step in preparing the new cohort of trained teachers for their national service placements, a mandatory programme designed to deploy graduates to support development efforts across the country.
