Methodist Women’s Fellowship transforms healthcare and prison welfare with lifesaving donations

The Connexional Women’s Fellowship of the Methodist Church Ghana has extended support through donations aimed at enhancing healthcare delivery and improving living conditions for women in prison.

At the hospital, the Connexional Women’s Fellowship presented modern equipment designed to improve efficiency in medical work and create a more supportive environment for both patients and staff.

Items included:

  • Ceiling fans

  • A printer

  • Other essential medical equipment

The Sekondi Female Prison also benefited from the outreach, receiving essentials such as food items, toiletries, and personal care supplies. The initiative was aimed at fostering better hygiene and ensuring inmates live under healthier, more dignified conditions.

Donations included:

  • Liquid soap

  • Dettol

  • Sanitary pads

  • Toilet rolls

  • Maize

  • Bleach

Representatives of the two institutions expressed their deep appreciation, describing the support as timely and impactful, with long-term benefits for health, cleanliness, and overall quality of life.
