the Bishop of the Effiduase Diocese, Rt. Rev. Kenneth Oteng Dapaah, together with his family, has donated media equipment valued at more than GH¢20,000 to the diocesan media team.
The package includes a modern vision mixer, a screen, and a set of wireless HDMI transmitters and receivers. The donation was made possible with the support of the Bishop’s son, Emmanuel Oteng Dapaah, reflecting the family’s ongoing commitment to advancing the spread of the gospel through technology.
This act of generosity is not the first from the Bishop and his family. Earlier in 2024, they donated an audio interface device and a laptop valued at GH¢9,000 to the diocese.
According to the Bishop, the latest equipment was purchased during his annual leave in Belgium with the specific intent of strengthening the diocese’s media capacity and helping the church reach a wider audience.
The Diocesan Media Coordinator, Rev. Daniel Gyasi-Nimako, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Bishop and his family for their continuous support. He noted that the gift comes at a crucial time, especially as the COVID-19 pandemic highlighted the need for churches to adopt digital tools to connect with members.
“This generous donation is a great service to the diocese and the church at large,” Rev. Gyasi-Nimako said, emphasizing the positive impact the equipment will have on both worship and outreach.
The gesture, he added, serves as a reminder of the importance of equipping the church with the right resources to fulfill its mission in today’s digital era. The Bishop’s contribution, blending generosity with vision, is already being hailed as an inspiration across the diocese.
With this latest donation, the Effiduase Diocese media team is expected to operate at a higher standard, strengthening its ability to spread the gospel and engage effectively with its growing congregation.
