The commitment of The Methodist Church Ghana to advancing academic excellence and intellectual development was clearly demonstrated when the Presiding Bishop, The Most Rev. Prof. Johnson Asamoah-Gyadu, fulfilled the promise he made to Mfantsipim School for winning the 2025 NSMQ.
The pledge, first announced during a meeting at the Wesley Towers in Accra, has now been honoured through the presentation of laptops and tablets to the students who secured victory for the school.
The presentation showcased thoughtful leadership and genuine appreciation for the students’ hard work.
By equipping the contestants with essential digital devices, the Presiding Bishop affirmed the Church’s confidence in their potential and its commitment to supporting their ongoing academic pursuits.
The Methodist Church Ghana has long upheld a distinguished tradition of supporting quality education, and this presentation reinforces its dedication to recognizing exceptional performance and nurturing future leaders across the country.
The NSMQ victory achieved by Mfantsipim School remains a moment of great academic pride, enhanced even further by the Church’s thoughtful recognition of the students’ efforts.
For the contestants, the school, and the wider Methodist community, this gesture represents more than the provision of devices. It stands as a reaffirmation of responsibility, partnership, and the Church’s unwavering commitment to educational advancement.
