The Methodist Church Ghana has officially launched its 2026 Daily Devotion book, themed “Walking in the Word: Equipped for Every Good Work.”
The launch took place on November 19, 2025, during the opening session of the General Purposes Council (GPC) Meeting at the Wesley Towers in Accra.

The Presiding Bishop of The Methodist Church Ghana, The Most Rev. Prof. Johnson Asamoah-Gyadu, performed the official declaration, presenting the Book as the approved spiritual guide for all Methodists for the year 2026.
He emphasized that the devotional is not just a book, but a tool for transformation, designed to enrich the spiritual lives of readers as they meditate on the Word of God daily.

Crafted by Methodist ministers across the Connexion, the 2026 Daily Devotion book provides a structured and spiritually grounded journey through the year. Each entry includes:
> A clear subtheme aligned with the Church’s 2026 focus
> A selected passage and key verse from the New International Version (NIV)
> A pastoral reflection to guide your day
> A thought to carry into action
> A prayer to centre your heart in God
The devotional encourages readers to walk faithfully in the Word, drawing strength, wisdom, and renewal. It is designed for personal meditation, family devotion, and corporate fellowship, offering a rich resource for discipleship and spiritual growth.

Church leaders present at the launch warmly embraced the initiative, commending its depth, clarity, and relevance for the journey of faith in 2026. Many described it as a timely resource to shape the spiritual rhythm of Methodists across the nation.
As the Church prepares to enter a new year, the devotional stands as a beacon of hope and renewal, inviting every Methodist to allow the Word of Life to speak and the Word of Hope to sustain them.
