Kumasi North Diocese holds Ministers and Spouses’ retreat

The Kumasi North Diocese of the Methodist Church Ghana held a one-day retreat for Ministers and their Spouses on Friday, 4th July 2025.

The retreat, aimed at equipping participants and rekindling their love and passion for kingdom ministry, brought together clergy and their spouses from across the Diocese.

Speaking on the Church’s 2025 theme, “Discipleship: Growing into Christian Maturity,” the Rt. Rev. Sampson Obeng Adjei, Bishop of the Kumasi North Diocese, urged ministers to remain steadfast in holiness, describing it as the essential foundation for effective ministry.

Participants were also taken through a legal education session, with particular emphasis on the importance of preparing a will.

Additionally, the retreat highlighted the importance of emotional intelligence in ministry, helping leaders appreciate its role in effective church leadership and interpersonal relationships.

The event provided a meaningful time for reflection, renewal, and fellowship, as ministers and their spouses recommitted to serving with integrity and spiritual maturity.
