First Atlantic Bank donates to Ghana Medical Trust Fund to strengthen healthcare

The Ghana Medical Trust Fund has received a major contribution from First Atlantic Bank to help improve healthcare delivery nationwide.

A delegation from the Bank, led by Executive Director of Business Daniel Marfo, visited the Fund’s offices on 16 September to present the support package. He was accompanied by Regional Head for Accra East James Abonney, Group Head for Energy Banking and Financial Institutions Chris Kan-Dapaah, and Head of Corporate Communications Ebenezer Akyeampong.

The donation forms part of the Bank’s corporate social responsibility agenda, which focuses on expanding access to quality healthcare and tackling chronic non-communicable diseases.

According to officials, the contribution will support specialised medical care for vulnerable patients while complementing government efforts to build a stronger healthcare system.

The Ghana Medical Trust Fund welcomed the gesture, describing it as timely, and pledged to ensure the funds are managed responsibly to save lives and deliver lasting benefits.
