Chelsea legend Eden Hazard has officially been inducted into the Premier League Hall of Fame, becoming the 26th player to receive the honour.
Hazard was chosen alongside Gary Neville as the two former players inducted this year, following a vote by the existing 24 Hall of Fame members.
During his seven-year spell at Chelsea, the Belgian star became one of the league’s most electrifying talents. He won the Premier League twice, was named the 2014–15 Premier League Player of the Season, and earned Chelsea’s Player of the Season award on four occasions.
Hazard scored 85 goals and provided 54 assists in 245 Premier League appearances between 2012 and 2019, cementing his reputation as one of the finest attacking midfielders of his generation.
“It means a lot to join the Premier League Hall of Fame,” Hazard said. “I’m very proud to join this group of players, and I think we could make a good squad! I grew up playing football for fun, but my dream was always to play at the highest level. Being recognised in this way is special for me and my family.”
His former manager José Mourinho, who led Chelsea to the 2014–15 title, praised the Belgian’s brilliance and influence on the team.
“Everybody knows that you belong there,” Mourinho said. “You’re one of the most amazing players I’ve ever worked with. Thank you for helping me win my last Premier League title.”
Hazard’s induction marks another milestone in his illustrious career, celebrating his artistry, consistency, and unforgettable impact on English football.
