Bono Police arrest 18-year-old for stealing GH₵74,000 worth of tricycles; accomplices on the run

The Bono Regional Police Command has arrested an 18-year-old, identified as Fuseini Ibrahim, for allegedly stealing three unregistered Apsonic tricycles valued at GH₵74,000.

Ibrahim was apprehended on August 14, 2025, at Dumasua in the Sunyani West Municipality and is currently in police custody.

According to a statement signed by Chief Inspector Thomas Akeelah, Public Relations Officer of the Bono Regional Police Command, the tricycles were reported stolen at Drobo in the Jaman South Municipality.

Ibrahim and three accomplices—identified only as Musa, Baba, and Malik Mustapha—were intercepted at the Dumasua checkpoint.

The statement indicated that while Ibrahim was arrested, the other suspects managed to escape. Police, however, retrieved the stolen tricycles and have launched a manhunt to apprehend the remaining fugitives.
