The Accra High Court has ordered the arrest of the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi Boasiako, widely known as Wontumi.
This follows his failure to appear before the court on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, for the continuation of his criminal trial.
The presiding judge, expressing displeasure over his unexplained absence, subsequently issued a bench warrant for his immediate arrest.
