Don’t be carried away by every wind of doctrine” – Rev. Ebenezer Ato Dadson

The Minister in charge of the Ascension Methodist Society, Haatso-Mabey, Rev Ebenezer Ato Dadson, has called on Christians to remain united in faith and grounded in Christ as a foundation for spiritual growth and maturity.

He made the appeal on Sunday, June 21, 2026, during a special young people’s service held under the theme Unity in Purpose Brings Power,” which focused on strengthening faith, cooperation, and spiritual growth among young people.

Preaching to the congregation, Rev. Dadson emphasised that unity within the Christian faith is essential for believers to grow into spiritual maturity and become firmly established in their walk with God. He warned against instability in belief, noting that Christians must not be easily swayed by changing doctrines or circumstances.

He stressed that a united church is better positioned to uphold Christian values and maintain a consistent witness in society. According to him, believers who are not rooted in Christ risk being moved “like children” by every shifting idea or influence.

Rev. Dadson further noted that when Christians are united, they develop spiritual completeness and reflect the standard of Christ more clearly, even in the midst of human imperfection.

He encouraged members of the church, especially the youth, to prioritise unity and remain steadfast in their faith, adding that consistency in Christian doctrine strengthens the church’s overall mission.
