The gathering brought together clergy, academic leaders, university officials, and members of the Methodist community to welcome him into office.

The induction was conducted by The Most Rev. Prof. Johnson Asamoah-Gyadu, Presiding Bishop of The Methodist Church Ghana and Chancellor of the Methodist University Ghana.
