Real Madrid forward Vinicius Junior is reportedly under investigation in Brazil following accusations that he disturbed public peace during his 25th birthday celebration in July.
According to reports from Globo, cited by Marca, the incident occurred at the football star’s residence in Rio de Janeiro, where a neighbour lodged a complaint against him for causing excessive noise. The military police were called to the property on the night of the event and instructed Vinicius to reduce the sound levels. However, after the officers left, witnesses claim that the loud music and shouting resumed and continued late into the night — stretching from July 19th into the early hours of July 21st.
Authorities later confirmed that Vinicius had been formally cautioned for allegedly breaching public order. If found guilty, he could face a minor legal penalty ranging from 15 days to three months in detention, though reports suggest a fine is the most probable outcome.
A Birthday Celebration That Got Out of Hand
Sources close to the player revealed that the star hosted an extravagant celebration attended by roughly 500 guests, complete with carnival rides, fireworks, and live performances. International music icon Travis Scott is said to have performed at the event, while fellow Brazilian singer Anitta and Real Madrid teammate Eduardo Camavinga were among the guests.
The party took place shortly after Real Madrid’s exit from the Club World Cup, during Vinicius’ customary return home for the summer break.
This is not the first time the winger’s private life has made headlines. Earlier this year, Vinicius issued a public apology to influencer Virginia Fonseca after a controversial photo sparked criticism online. The player admitted to being “careless” and expressed regret for the misunderstanding.
As the investigation continues, Vinicius has not made a public statement about the incident. Despite the controversy, he remains one of Brazil’s most celebrated footballers and a key figure in Real Madrid’s current squad.
